Time to buy some luggage!

Hey, I'm a 34DD, I've been a big fan of 'proper support' for many, many years now! :bandit:

Sheesh, way to hijack a thread.

If you said that to tease/get the attention of nearly every guy on this board. . . . . .then you were succesfull. :)

What was I going to say before that? Focus Lee, focus.......... Oh yeah congrats Sling Air on the new job! Maybe I'll see you around.

Any suggestions on what brand to get? I will be flying the CRJ I was told that purdy neat luggageworks 22' stealth is a great model for that airplane. Any advice and/or comments appreciated.

:yeahthat: I have the 737NG bag and no matter how full i stuff it it fits in the CRJ over head (and in the Bro too, which more than once has gotten me on a plane that was weight restricted).

Sorry for the hijack, but I took the 'support' comment and ran with it......

Not exaggerating either...... however, all things considered (back pain, trying to find clothes that FIT) I'd rather be a few sizes smaller there!

Now, back to the luggage issue! I again recommend the Costco bag, or a hardside Samsonite. Scott's is the only way to go for kit bags. If you buy a cheap $40 Office Max special, you may end up traversing Europe with black electrical tape holding it together after 6 years! (Not that I've ever personally seen that done or anything..... :) )

BREAKING NEWS

I have a JC exclusive that is going to turn these luggage threads upside down..................

The Costco/Kirkland bag no longer will fit in the overhead of the RJ!

From what I can gather the new bag has larger wheels that change the depth dimension enough that I was unable to get my new Costco bag into the overhead on two different attempts on two different days (both packed lightly). It'll fit into the cockpit baggage compartment (pain in the @ss) but if your captain has the same idea, yours gets to ride in the back. And you get to hope every leg that the ramper's can read well enough to understand the "DO NOT REMOVE" tag. Good times.
