Time Off While Training?

Hi! Does anyone know if the 13 days off and 13 sick days per year starts after you complete OKC and report to your training facility? I have heard some suggest mot taking time off until you are fully certified as it could set you back mentally, but that seems like a tough task since certification often takes over two years and you usually have to relocate to certify.

You start accumulating sick/vacation time when you start OKC (as stated in the TOL), but from what I understand you won't be granted any, except for emergencies, until you leave OKC.
