Today I was at the airshow around here and the Thunderbirds were performing. Great show, and I took some nice pictures. I saw on each plane it has a number(1-6). On the number 5 plane the number was upside down. Why???

Just like the gas station, they ran out of 2's J/K, I actually have no clue

I'll go back to my cave now.

T-Bird 5 is the Lead Solo. His number has historically been placed upside down because of the routine he flys.

Which airshow were you at? We had one here in Pittsburgh today, and I was fortunate enough to go, and I had a blast!

Kinda bummed because I missed it the second year in a row. Sick last year, working this year, down near the beach in Narragansett. I was able to see some C-130's and A-10's over the area though; and I could have sworn I saw a B-2 even though it wasn't listed at the web site. Guess there's always next year...

It was awesome today, and alot more people showed up. A B-2 flew by from Mississippi. The acts that pop out in my mind are Sean D. Tucker, Thunderbirds, and the Combined Arms Demo (with the C-130's and the A-10's)
