Three U.S. F-15s Involved in Friendly Fire Incident in Kuwait; Pilots Safe​

TAMPA, Fla. – At 11:03 p.m. ET, March 1, three U.S. F-15E Strike Eagles flying in support of Operation Epic Fury went down over Kuwait due to an apparent friendly fire incident.

During active combat—that included attacks from Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles, and drones — the U.S. Air Force fighter jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses.

All six aircrew ejected safely, have been safely recovered, and are in stable condition. Kuwait has acknowledged this incident, and we are grateful for the efforts of the Kuwaiti defense forces and their support in this ongoing operation.

The cause of the incident is under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

I’m going to assume that the real power grab won’t be now- people are smart enough to understand that apparently leaders are on the board now- and if a “worse” guy stands up- we’ll probably just keep bombing them until they get a “trump appeaser”. I’d expect the real problem to show up in a few years, when we’ve declared the problem fixed and moved on.

Have you not seen the masses of Iranians worldwide and inside Iran that are screaming “we love trump we love bibi” right now around the world at all these Iranian gatherings? They are waving the lion flag, American flags, Israeli flags etc. They actually might be free from this regime democrats seem to love keeping them forced under. I wouldn't be surprised if this conflict lasts just as long as that one did. I am under the impression that this isn't going to be an Operation Desert Storm. They killed so much of Iran's leadership until eventually it gets to the point where there is a power vacuum where different factions end up battling it out to gain control. And Israel and all the rest of the middle east will be trying to get their piece of the pie.
