This is why I don't like letting others control my flight bookings

PIT-DEN and IAD-IAH, 3:55 & 4:07 block, respectively, have been my two longest. Ridiculous legs for an E145. I almost felt bad for the passengers. We did only have 17 people going to DEN, though.

Are they still doing YYZ-IAH? That was always long, as well as DCA-IAH and IAH-BOI.

LAX-Acapulco was the record though! 1,439NM in the good 'ole ERJ.

Go ride on a CRJ with the new and "improved" United slimline seats. I've only seen them on the Mesa planes so far. They're the worst seats ever.

I flew on a SkyWest CRJ-700 from CLE to IAH with the new slim line seating. It was not particularly comfortable. Especially the lack of ANY padding in the headrest. That was the worst.

Who pee'd in your Cheerios brother? Wow. Never implied any of the points you just made...but carry on.

Oh, my bad then...what WERE you trying to imply by stating "...nothing regional about my outbound" then?

I don't mind being on CRJ-700s for a few hours, though I think UA is crazy to "enter" the LAX-MSP market with a CRJ-700 on a 4 hour flight when the competition is flying Boeings and Airbuses...but whatever.

Anything over 2 hours in a CRJ-200 though...horrible.

Did ROC-DFW in a -700 years ago. Was dreading the flight and actually thought it was comfortable than a 320.

I was just starting a conversation man, then you came in and basically berated me for posting. If you have a problem with it, move along, why come in with all the vitriol?

To your actual question, my statement reflected the state of the industry as we're all well aware, that this flight should be operated by mainline metal, 737/320, etc...nothing more to read into about it. Tell ya what, from now on I'll ask your permission and seek your approval for any threads I want to post...otherwise I'll just sit over here in the corner, waiting for a few scraps to be through to us non-121 types.

If all you're gonna do is sleep on the flight anyway -- which is what most people do -- it doesn't really make a difference what plane you're on.

Yeah, a 747 is cool and all that, but you know what? You ain't flying it. You're just along for the ride.

I pays my moneys and I sleep on the plane. And I take an aisle seat. Omigawd, do I have to turn in my license to the FAA now?

Try commuting on a 737 or 757 to Hawaii. Worst flights ever! and I couldn't partake in the free sugar and rum!

Now that Hawaiian uses the Airbus on the SEA-HNL and OGG legs I try to take that whenever I can. Getting stuck in the cockpit of the 737 or 757 is pretty bad for that long. I'd still rather take any back seat though.
