This is why I don't like letting others control my flight bookings

4 out of 5 great lakes prefer Michigan.
I'm traveling for work in the next month, and they don't let us control our own flights...I want to break something right now....

There's nothing regional about my outbound....

Short lived thread. You already said you have no control over it. So, tough •.

Additionally, United doesn't care about what you perceive "regional" to mean.

Moreover, neither does SkyWest or any management figure at either organization.

Enjoy the 3.75 in the CRJ-700.

Yeah, it'll go overblock, trust that.

Who pee'd in your Cheerios brother? Wow. Never implied any of the points you just made...but carry on.

Sounds like Delta out of ATL. Going to Toronto? Here is a nice pretty CRJ-700 for you. Oh you'd rather go to Augusta/Savannah, GA? We're going to let you fly on our shiny 737-700/800! And before you throw flight loads at me. The flight to Augusta usually has 50-70 people. Savannah has more certain days of the week. Still funny either way you look at it.

Air Canada (read 'Jazz') flies a CRJ-200 couple nights a week down here from Toronto. Long flight on a 200.

You wanted cheap, you got it.

Hah. They fly 757's from here to Jacksonville as well.

PIT-DEN and IAD-IAH, 3:55 & 4:07 block, respectively, have been my two longest. Ridiculous legs for an E145. I almost felt bad for the passengers. We did only have 17 people going to DEN, though.

It's crazy how many of those longer flights we have. I just looked through my logbook and it's ridiculous how many of these 3+ hour legs we do.

What's wrong with the CRJ-700? For long flights, the -200 isn't comfortable but from having travelled in the back of a -700 and -900, I thought they were just fine.

I would agree with this... The 200 is pretty miserable, but the 700/900 are pretty comfortable for me (I'm 6'1"). Plus you always get an aisle or a window.

The flight where I felt really bad for pax was a -200 from DEN-PDX. That is definitely ridiculous.

I just did ATL-EWR last week (as a pax) in a 145, not a fun flight, and those seats made my back hurt.

Go ride on a CRJ with the new and "improved" United slimline seats. I've only seen them on the Mesa planes so far. They're the worst seats ever.
