This is how cabotage starts

Wow. So you are doing the entire era of his music. Man, this is really awesome. I watch his tv show on the dvds over and over. The live tv audiences were always dressed to the nines too. The Nelson Riddle orchestra was just amazing. He had so many of the greats on his show, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy and Dean, Peggy Lee, Bing Crosby, Lena Horne...you name it. The recordings he did for his Reprise label are still some of my faves. I had no idea you were a Sinatra fan.

dude, we are recreating this duet. I have a wonderful lady singer, Dana Moret (google her) who will do Our Love Is Here To Stay. Then we will do this version ( I had my arranger transcribe this a couple of years ago) of Lady Is A Tramp.

This is too damn bizarre. I am listening to Frank last night, you post about doing a show of Frank's music, I put up one of my fave duets with him and Ella and you are doing this same damn song is the show. Talk about synchronicity.

I just watched a couple of Dana's you tube videos. She's got a helluva voice. Very bluesy. I really liked If You Want me To Stay and Natural Woman. Very talented woman for sure.

Oh man, did you get a new website or completely redo your website or something? I think I had seen your old website like some time ago, this looks all new to me. Or maybe I just watched you directly on YouTube or something. I can't remember. Either that or I am more senile than I realized.lol I have your big band video playing right now Your voice is so smooooooth and mellow. Really good. I am going to check out all your other videos. Thanks for the link. It's cool to see couples dancing in some of that video too. We love swing dancing. Your suits and shoes are great! You really have the look going on. (Every Day is on now) You like Chet Baker? I am a huge Baker fan.

This is a short film that was shot at the concert last night by a brilliant young filmmaker.… Look at Hardland while you're at vimeo as well it will be a great film once he finishes it.

That was just great, Dale! The Sands logo!!! Love it! Like the band-the horns are terrific. And you did a beautiful rendition of that song, also one of my faves. I really enjoyed the the brief clip above too and especially that it was shot in black and white and seemed like the old school documentary type of feel to it and it was very artistic. Wish it had been longer. Your voice is so good....... very mellow and smooth. I hope you post a few more videos from the concert. I bet the audience loved it and had a wonderful time. Congrats on putting on such a terrific show. You're seriously very talented.

OK as promised, here is a very raw version of A Very Good Year. We'll be able to mix the audio better and get a couple other camera shots…but this is just the camera at the back of the house.

It's not that I don't appreciate your music, it's pretty good. But how is this related to the thread topic?

Much like half the threads on here, it went off the rails two weeks ago. Once strippers and Pat Robertson were brought up, the wheels pretty much fell off. You could always post your thoughts on cabotage and steer it back on course if you like.

thanks man, this was the culmination of 500 hours of work since August…and resistance from the band leader, and people telling me that this wouldn't work…and so on ad nauseum… so the end result is very satisfying. It's is the best show I've ever put on in my life. This is just one of the looks, schemes,

It's related to thread drift, just like just about every other thread on this forum…

And this is your typical immature, juvenile behavior when you cannot effectively counter what someone else has stated. (post 118)

Can you get over the fact that plenty of others do not agree with you and that you are often wrong? And stop tagging me like some 2 year old having a tantrum and demanding attention. You've done that twice now in just a few minutes.
so we tagged him
and then tagged him again
@A Life Aloft :) I like this game.
LMAO.Well, I still like your damn singing and trumpet playing too. Make some more videos, will ya? @Bumblebee

edit to add: And I like your suits.
and then he asked for it…

Just to show you how we got from petty bs arguing about aviation business to something fun.
