You mean it's a better type of PPL South of it![]()
Yeah, not so much. It must be the lack of grass and trees that grow needles, and not leaves, that make things odd.

Depends on what your looking for. If you enjoy the diversity and urban lifestyle, then check out Jersey City, North Bergen, Palisades Park, and Rutherford in North Jersey. . Anything close to PA border is very rural, and quiet. Middlesex County is close to EWR but more suburban and not bad IMOP. I live in Union County.
Is Jersey City livable?
Is Jersey City livable? From what I hear it is on par with Camden, Newark or Trenton. How one state has so many terrible cities is beyond me, must be something in the water.
PA is a bit more rural north of 202 along the river passed New Hope, but it is not Kansas rural. Just south of 202 along the river are some great places to live and Philly, Princeton, Doylestown, the mountains or nice beaches are all within a 45 minute drive. The GA flying is fantastic, there is Van Sant airport for some grass field tail wheel, open cockpit, acro and glider flying. Princeton, TTN, Trenton-Robinsville, Sky Manor, Alexandria and Doylestown are all within a 30 minute drive and a bit further away are Wings Filed and Philadelphia Glider Council. Prices and aircraft options vary but most are reasonable and there is not a lack of great $100 hamburger destinations to be visited.
Best of all though, you won't have to say you live in the Dirty Jerz! ha ha In reality there are some really nice places to live in Jersey and the local produce is delicious and cheap. Taxes and insurance are higher though. Lehigh Valley is very nice and always felt a bit more removed from the hustle and bustle that most places around here have.
Good luck!!
It depends on what part of the city. The Harbor side/water front area is being built up with skyscrapers and financial offices. The other parts, maybe not so much. But it's better than the other citys you list.
Yes, the Newport/waterfront area is nice. It's like living in NYC village for half the price.
Cool, I didnt know that. Happy to see NJ is starting to turn itself around.
Outside of the crap that is Camden, Trenton and Newark, NJ is a pretty nice place. It just costs more to live here. It's better than Killadelphia. haha
Ha no arguments there! The only reason to go into the city is to watch the Phillies or Flyers play. Thankfully the stadiums are directly off 95 so time spent is minimized. It is best viewed from the air or while driving passed on 95 to better locations.
