Thinking of going into consulting

Polished Member
This is more of an extension of the "Time off and being on call" thread, but because now that I'm living in base with my EMS job, I've got a bunch of free time and I don't have to pick up my life and move it 300 miles every wednesday. Any advice?

There's a great Dilbert about Dogbert going into consulting because it combines his two favorite things-conning people, and insulting them.
