Great. The people that can't even get wheelchairs to the gate in a timely manner working as security. I feel safe. Although, the TSA people here in MEM would be right at home over there as well. I hear Doug's stories about the food court in ATL, and they actually remind me of some of the TSA screeners here.
 
Man... the food choices in ATL put DTW to shame besides Rio Wraps. (Any 45 minute turn in DTW and I got to where I could make a "Rio run.")

Chick Fil A, Wall Street Deli, Popeyes, Mandarin Express, and Qdoba...... I'm gaining weight. I don't know what happens behind the scenes....but they are alot quicker than Einstein's bagels ever was and it tastes goooood. A transcon is not a transcon without the Mango Chicken!


Memphis is another thing though...... I really miss the smoked turkey barbeque sandwiches from Interstate and Lenny's. It makes me want to bid back to the MD-88 just to get to see that occasionally.
 
Popeyes was horrible on my waistline when I was ATL-based.

Breast and a wing with a small rb&r and a medium half 'n half tea... 20 minutes later:

"Skipper? I think I gotta put my head back for a couple of minutes..." :)

Hahahaha.... Breakfast only for me, dude. I remember the mashed topaters are good for lunch only for Mempho lunch breaks during Pinnacle training. I always go Mango in the afternoons when I have to head out to the west coast. :)

Careful about the Vegas Quiznos... I spent somewhere around 5 hours in the lav JFK-LAS thanks to that place. It had just the right amount of fermenting and I got some wonderful excersizes in power vomiting in the 757-200ERs. :) Make sure the tie doesn't hang down into the blue juice, it's unprofessional!

That's terrible . . .:eek:

I feel fortunate now. I went in there to grab a couple of sandwiches, and the lady in front of me kept on talking and talking, and her daughter could not make up her mind until I had to order a couple of cookies, and some milk to tide us over.
 
Yeah, CA I flew with earlier this year is at AirTran right now. He keeps taunting me with the ATL food court options.

But MEM does have a Popeyes in the A Concourse now.....which is where Delta parks. :)
