The proper response to "you look too young to fly is"?

I used to have that problem. I started flight instructing when I was 20. Trust me, that problem will go away and you will wish that you had it back.

I made captain on the RJ a couple weeks after I turned 24... I got it alllll the time. I usually went with something similar to "mom's ok with it as long as I'm home by 8."

My first week flying the line at DL, one of the FA's warmed up a glass of milk and brought it to me.

My FO is 26 and looks like he is 20. He gets the "you're too young to be a pilot" thing all the time.
At breakfast one morning an elderly lady said she would not get on our plane if he was the pilot - I had to calm her down by telling her I didn't let him touch anything! However that didn't stop her telling him she had a gorgeous 24 year old single granddaughter......I just shook my head and paid the tab....dammit....
