Hello friends:
In these tough economic times, lots of people are holding back on their training. Also it's a good time to get good deals on training and to negotiate a good price with flight schools.
I am about ready to start my training at the start of the new year. So far the best quote I have gotten is about 35,000 for a zero to 255 hour package. This package includes 80 hours of dual instruction (172) and 150 hours of rental in a 172. Also included are 25 hours of multi engine time. check ride fees are an extra 800 $ for the 4 check rides. So at the end of the course - one has Private, instrument, ME commercial and SE commercial.
This price also includes housing.
Is this a good price? Any thoughts on this?
Cheers
