The Official "Waiting For FOL From LA PEPC" Thread

Some people at the KC PEPC got FOL's just a few days after their refferences got the letters. That is strange becasue it implies that the refferences are not that important, as it would have been impossible for most people to return them before the FOL was issued. I wonder if it will be the same case for the LA PEPC? If so we may see people get FOL's this week.

Yeah references got their letters yesterday! A FOL soon would be some wonderful news!! So who do we ck with again to see if we are fully medically cleared?
 
Yeah I've been wondering the same thing about the medical and psych tests....my references got their forms to fill out last week but I have heard nothing about the other two things
 
call the western region. they know if you passed or not. I guess like half of my people got their surveys yesterday. heres to the other half today:panic:
 
If you did not hea anything negative about your medical clearance by now I think it's safe to assume that you are clear, people who failed the MMPI were notified two weeks ago, and anyone who needed follow-up medical things was probably spoken to about it at the PEPC. Ther last clearance is the secruity, I only know people who went through this process through jetcareers, but I never recall of anyone getting their TOL pulled this late in the process. That is good news but I'm sure it can happen, so until the FOL arrives we will all be nervous a bit but hopefully for all of us it will just be paranoia, lol.
 
Has anyone recently called their H.R. rep to see if there has been any update with possible academy dates? I have called and emailed a bunch of times and no response. Is it bad that I wanna plan my life?

I don't think they will release Academy Dates until the FOL's start to go out officially, but did anyone call to check on their security clearance? I assume that's the only things which is still pending for most people, but at the PEPC someone said that all clearances should be complete in two weeks or so, so i wonder if many of us are totally checked out with clearances, and are really all just waiting for class dates to get confirmed. As far as timing goes, soemone I have been talking to who took the non-PEPC route for a Center position in-between the KC and LA PEPC just got an FOL with a 5/28 date. I can assume that will be the earliest any of us will get to OKC as well, with June and July being more realistic projected dates. For me that would be preferabel, I think it would suck to only get 3-4 weeks notice before your date like some of the PUBNAT 1 applicants and need to quit your job with little notice and hurry/rush to move.
