We were working on some production equipment the other day (my non-flying job) and there was a request from the customer to display a warning on the main control panel display screen when the *joint* between two sections of raw material was entering the equipment so the operator could keep an eye on the process during this critical stage. The programmer set up the screen to flash a message: "Mind the Gap!".
Nobody there got the reference.
