The end of GLA?

does anyone own airline stock?

i though Warren Buffet gave his Top 10 investment tips; #4. Never buy Airline Stock, Ever!

They paid the monthly extension fee, so tomorrow Nov. 17th is the new deadline. The extensions are expensive and dont make sense to continue paying. If Lakes still hasnt found financing their strategies to deal with tomorrows deadline could give an indication whether they have figured a way to move forward.

What do they think you are gonna give Delta priority all the time just because you are investing in his retirement...

Why is that?

Basically they don't want to add fuel to the fire of the perception of bias towards one airline or another. Also someone might go out of their way to give shortcuts to "their" airline to improve the bottom line while degrading overall safety in the process. It is FAA-wide rule so it applies to FSDO and aviation inspectors as well, basically makes "stock for favors" deals illegal.

I can own mutual funds or similar that include airline stock though with some limitations, although as has been pointed out who would want an airline in their portfolio?

We are still waiting for our schedules, they were suppose to be out a week ago.

I had to call off work cause my wife is sick and I needed to watch our two year old; first time the Assistant CP and scheduling was cool about calling off...it kinda made me wonder whats going on.

We filled for a late SEC filing, so I think something is going on.

Crap man. Good luck.

Yeah, though I feel for the people working there, in all capacities, I must say that when they wanted to hire me and wouldn't lift a finger to get me to an interview, no pay for 6 weeks of training, then only 16 bucks an hour; I literally laughed in disgust that they would propose to do that to someone, and that there was someone who would allow that to be done to themselves. I will be glad to see them disappear from the map....

My dream remains alive! Go GLA go!!!

I want to use GLA as a stepping-stone to get to CommutAir so that I can see if I can induce Jhugz into an online stroke.

Actually, that sounds ghey...and I'm sure it doesn't take much to induce him into an "online stroke"...any picture of Taylor Swift would do that. I meant "Online CVA".
