Well, I was considering starting an EMT section for @MQAAord entitled "Cawl me uh Ambalampse", perhaps the Mrs would participate? We could all do couple's stuff, @JEP! Wouldn't that just be diviiiiiiiiine! Blesh yower haaaaaaaart. ;)

She's a paramedic...Same, same but not sure of the difference....Something abut drugs, etc....... :p I get the dirt sometimes.....No names of course....And if you did that and she logged on, I would drop the ban hammer....

I already informed Mrs JEP of his actions here. He will soon be cleared VFR-direct to the couch to hold, with no EFC time issued.

They're both EMTs, really. Just different levels of the same. One does basic life support functions, the other forgets to do basic life support functions.

I have personally learned a lot because of this site. I have met some good people as well. I know I have unfortunately rubbed some people the wrong way but I learn best when I am active and participating. This is especially the case when I am wrong.

EMT- 1 semester class at community college. Or 3-4 months of weekend classes with a hospital-based program.
Paramedic- Already have a EMT certificate, have taken an Anatomy/Physiology class, and complete a year-long program of classroom, hospital and ambulance education. Our hospital program is a 52-week long program, some community colleges have a 2-year "Paramedic Science" associate degree programs.
