Those Patriot Front swine absolutely hate America. In fact I will go farther: if you encounter Patriot Front, The Klan, or some other Nazi or adjacent group and do not assault them in some way (even verbally if that is all you can do) then you don't love America.

This is informed by my first encounter with the Klan in the 1980's.
I am not one.of these "high road" types who think "even though they are Nazis it is wrong to hit them".

I’m one of those high road types.

If I witness you assaulting somebody, you might get shot in the face. There is no hyperbole here.

If I witness an assault, the assailant’s family may not enjoy an open casket funeral.

Respecting our laws and its constitutional protections is not “taking the high road”.

I once happened upon a klan rally in the mid '80s in SoCal (Tujunga actually) as some friends and I were just driving around. None of us were simpatico with their idealism and as soon as everyone was aware we beat it as fast as my buddies Rabbit would run (it wasn't a GTI but it had a header and some other mods, his dad was an auto shop teacher/football coach). I can remember going to visit my brother in Georgia and the KKK had a building with an illuminated sign saying it was the county seat on the commute from his house to his workplace. That sort of racism seemed to have disappeared through the '90s and then it came back. Now democrats hate Jews. The left gained control of the media and unlocked Pandoras Box, it's gotten away from them.

For a minute I was wondering what it must be like to live with the amount of delusion/misinformation that knot does on a daily basis.

Then I remembered that 77 million people voted for Trump. So it’s really not uncommon.

I can’t really blame Gays for Palestine or Jews for the election of a nut like Trump, so who’s left? Certainly a few white Christians, very few of which I think I actually hate.

I’m a straight pro-Israel athiest libertarian but would rather break bread and drink with Gays for Palestine than a bunch of MAGA hat-wearing nuts.

On a daily basis, I listen to Fox News … as well NPR, BBC, and CNC. Americans would be better off if they listened to BBC and CBC.

Fox News, the actual newscast, used to be pretty good with the partisan crap limited to the hours of commentary. Now, it’s all pretty bad. It’s bad on every measure. If it were just conservative, that’d be fine. It’s just nutty jock-sniffing.

Keep in mind that what you're describing is an escalation that could easily end up with you dead or in prison, and it would be you who broke the law to put yourself in that position.

Is cross burning free speech? What about lynching? What about filtering billions of dollars to ensure that only your own speech is free? What if your expression of free speech is intended to have a chilling effect on minorities in your community and force them to move out?

At what point is "free speech" funneling money into politics to buy the right to pollute streams and waterways, to potentially kill thousands, to reduce quality of life for millions? At what point does "free speech" start and end if someone says to someone of color, "We're gonna kill you, n—?"

Where does our lovely, naïve, corrupted ideology find us in the year 2026, when people are going to prison for the rest of their lives printing 'zines, but the president of the united states can openly urge insurrection against his political opponents, use his office to attack the journalistic process and the free speech of americans who dare to criticize him? When "free speech" is extended to the actions of corporations that can openly buy elections and candidates to legislate for them?

When does the free speech of one party come at the expense of the free speech of another? What about their right to live, to work, to exercise religion, to have family, community?

When choosing violence to defend these constitutional protections, which way are you pointing your Face Shootin' Gun?

Without a doubt, they do. At least to the extent this America is not the one that they want. They currently see an avenue of approach to conduct their real plan, which is fairly well scripted (which deranged double-digit IQ morons need) by the Turner Diaries. Probably the biggest, most open, avenue of approach they have had in my entire life. They lost their momentum pretty quickly after Ruby Ridge/Waco though. I think vague bigotry or maybe xenophobia is popular with the masses, but I don't know if many everyday people are willing to order what these types are serving. They continue to make the mistake of going full idiot and revealing what they're really up to. Rather than what MAGA did, which is much more insidious and vaguely hateful but still deniable.

If I witness a felonious assault or battery, I’m going to intervene. That intervention could be verbal, could be physical, or could very well include deadly force. Those are tactical decisions.

There is an important issue, you need to correctly identify the assailant. The assailant may not be the person that initiated physical contact. A credible threat of violence is assault. Folks that don’t understand this may end up in prison. You don’t want to kill the actual victim. The law is pretty clear on these matters.

If I’m a party in an altercation, I’m always going to attempt to deescalate, especially if I’m armed. It is disturbing that in many states you can legally sucker somebody into a fight and kill them.

Without knowing anything more about you than what you have posted, I believe that you may be more likely to be a victim of violence than your average person. I would happily place myself at physical and legal peril to defend you.

Let’s stay on topic. The post I responded to described a chance “encounter”, not a scenario where the person with disturbing associations was engaged in illegal activity.

Our laws and jurisprudence have defined free speech and the limits on free speech. Illegal activity, including threats of violence, have never been protected.

Is @WacoFan a commercial pilot transporting passengers? He just described his plan to assault a passenger if they are known to be members of a racist group. That sounds like an HR nightmare. Perhaps somebody should advise him that threats of unprovoked violence may not be appreciated by an employer.

If the liberals didn't elect Trump then who did? The majority of the country. You might not like it and you might pretend to feel superior and enlightened but obviously you're in the minority and the majority disagrees.
