The best thing since sliced bread

In a prop there is no way I'd wear anything but over the ear.
Just curious. 74db in the Metro, 82db in the Brazilia according to the FONE. Seems within range of an on the ear. It's the constant droning frequencies that really need to be canceled out over the actual volume anyways, of which there are more in a prop, I agree. Just curious if an on-the ear ANR headset has gotten good enough for that yet.

The David Clark DC Pro X ENC headsets.

Sweet nectar of the gods.

Yes, they're spendy, you find find them at a slight discount at the DTW Stopover store and have you priced-out hearing aids and audiologists? :)
Did you get the ones for the airbus or did you get an adapter?

@Derg :
How do you hang/clip them in the bus?

So far I use a paper clip and clip the cord to the air vent by the plug in.
There must be a better way...

I don't want to let it hang by the cord to help preserve the life of them.

I broke down and bought a pair. I wrap the cord once around the thing that the ship's headset hangs on and stuff the ship's headset up by the plug. I guess there's a little weight on the battery box. I also have the Airbus adapter connected to mine, so that might add a little length.

Love the headset. The only annoyance is how bright the green light pulsates at night. Might put a little tape over that.

I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and post it. Hard to explain.
