The Airline That Shall Not Be Named...

Hello, I'm John. (Hi John!) I will freely admit that I am a pilot for GoJet (G7) (BOO! HISSS!!!)
If you have questions, I have some answers. The information from the Delta side is almost completely second hand, since I don't work that side of the operation.

The Airplanes 22 Delta (Ex Comair) 25 United
The United aircraft are in fairly good condition with most planes only having missing aerodynamic sealant MEL's. Occasionally you'll get a turd with a busted APU or autopilot, but they seem to be fixing them as they break quickly. All aircraft have the new United paint job and are being rotated into CVG for the 70 seat interior option.

The Delta aircraft from what I've heard are absolute turds. Some of the first to come off the production line. Lots of MX problems when they first got here. I've heard of two separate pressurization failures leading to the dropping of the rubber jungle. No complaints lately.

The Bases ORD/STL/RDU. ORD is completely United flying (unless you're on reserve). RDU is almost completely Delta flying. STL is a mix. There were some United trips that had overnights in RDU that were transferred to that base (to save on hotel expenses). All bases get United benefits but only RDU/STL bases get Delta benefits. Of course you can be on reserve in ORD and get called to work a Delta trip and not get benefits. Management has been made very aware of this situation.

The Flying Delta: Hub turns out of JFK/LGA.
United: A mix of flying that shuffles back and forth between ORD/DEN/IAD hubs. You might do ORD-MCI-DEN-STL-IAD as part of a trip. Airports served are in clusters. Texas (AUS SAT), Northwest (BZN BOI), Upstate New York (SYR ALB ROC), Canada (YYZ YUL BTV), Midwest (•ing CID MCI TUL OKC MOL). There are more airports, I just don't feel like typing them out.

The Contract Pay/QOL? Haha. The contract is a document only slightly larger than (redacted). Min day? Trip rig? Duty rig? Nope. Enjoy 3 day trips worth 8 hours of credit. Cancellation pay? Kind of. 95% guarantee of your bid hours for the month. Soft pay is a huge demand from the pilot groups to the union for the negotiations. How are the negotiations going? News from the union says that progress is being made. I guess we'll find out when the TA comes out.

I was going to type more but I'm getting really drunk.

I (and @amorris311) know a guy who has denied multiple GoJet Jumpseaters.
There's a difference between denying a jumpseater because he's a toolbag that happens to work for GoJet and denying the jumpseat simply because he's from GoJet.
Was it the latter?

Sounds like an issue a jumpseat coordinator will like to handle...

Considering the Captain and Jumpseat Coordinator were on union organizing committees to prevent an alter ego (which GoJets is) situation at Colgan, nothing was done except remind the Captain of his authority.
