You're welcome. I was glad to have the company, especially considering I was stuck at the airport anyhow.

Enjoy your trip!

(and your extra long Killeen layover...)

BTW- what was the final airframe count on the Beagle this morning?

How many planes DOES it take to fly 50 people to Killeen?

3!!!! Is that a record? :D

Nowhere near 50 pax...we lost some and ended up with prob.20-30 (if that!)

BF is on his way to meet me, so the layover isn't looking so boring after all!

Sorry I missed you this morning Q! Glad Charlie was there to visit with you!

Bob

PS: Charlie, How bad was your DFW-ORD commute?

The DFW-ORD commute is a damned disaster, and likely took 5 years off my total life span.

I think I know what you're sniffing at here, and I'd advise you to think twice. The AA standby list is ridiculous. I once saw the afternoon 777 clean up run turn away 90+ standbys. Were it not for the jumpseat, I'd probably still be stuck somewhere in ORD.

There's usually contention of some sort over that, too. If you're offline, I recommend planning a full day attempting to commute. Or the early, early AM runs.

Note: If you MUST commute to ORD, do yourself a huge favor and include the United Airbus runs in your list. They're less likely to be full when loads run that way, and they'll stick jumpseaters in the last cabin seat available- an Economy Plus seat. Super nice crews, too.
