TFR-NASCAR (Sonoma raceway)

Does anyone know anything about a tfr for the NASCAR race at Sonoma tomorrow? I looked on the faa site and there's no current info. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place??

My buddy is a huge NASCAR fan but he can't make it to the race. So we were hoping to fly close enough in the morning to see the track and cars before the race. I doubt it's possible...but who knows.

It's there on the FAA TFR map. As a side note: Most stadium TFRs aren't published by the FAA. It's too hard to keep track of every open air stadium greater than 30,000 capacity NCAA Division I, NASCAR Sprint cup (notice only sprint cup), Indy car, MLB, or NFL game. I've been told rather than a security thing it was more that these organizations bought the airspace to keep banner towers out and keep 100% control of what is advertised.

The only reason there is a published TFR over the raceway is because of the airshow.

We may try to fly over around 0700-0800.

I think I clicked the wrong center when I checked. Haven't had a chance to look on the computer, just my phone.

We get TFR's over the Fontana Speedway, Rose Parade, Major League Baseball Games even the Mighty Ducks games.

I did say most. LA is it's own beast. FDC 9/5151 is an uncharted TFR. In most cases you have to know there is a stadium and when/what is going on.
