Just smart enough to operate the machines
Planning on relocating to Texas, since I have some family there, and where I am in NJ doesn't seem to be leading anywhere. Wondering if anyone knows of some good cfi jobs there. I consider myself a good instructor, and I give my all. I prefer working at small schools, but I realize that business can be slow and the big schools may have more steady work. I'm mostly looking for something that will allow me to pay the bills, but I'm also curious to see if there are schools that offers any of these:
scenario based training syllabus
salary
raises/ opportunity for advancement
air conditioned airplanes
fun stuff like tailwheel and seaplane
multi engine or turbine time
opportunity for charter connections/work
My times are 1770 total and 700 dual given.Really, I'm interested in anywhere out west, but I'm focusing my search on Texas at the moment.
