Terrible... Fatal BHM accident..

Seggy, it all depends how much time and money some wants to spend to procescute a case. In the case of the q400 it would depend how far back in the chain the prosecutor wanted to go. With that said the gov't can circle it's wagons quite effectively.

No I think he is talking about the air Midwest crash. That Mx was fired I believe but he did not serve any jail time. The Colgan guy was the Mx lead in Albany.
 
Another thing to add, both of those incidents were not done maliciously. There was no forethought to sabotaging the flight controls. In the instance of the Colgan crash it was put in upside down. From what I hear that is an honest mistake since they look the same. I don't know what Mx procedures are after installing them but the crew should have checked prior to taxi out. The air Midwest crash was improper rigging. The airplane flew three legs before the crash. The problem was not enough elevator authority since the cg was so far back. Both cases are quite sad and also complete accidents. No one wanted to cause harm.
 
Name them all then go for the deepest pockets is SOP. Did I read that right the other signs are still up with the same flawed setup?
