i dont know where i'm going yet, but im pretty sure it's detroit :rawk:

I'm going to kalamazoo, detroit looks hopefull for me in the future

We can all sit here and say, "I want to start at a level 11", or "I only want to start at a mid-level", but in the end the FAA will decide for us. All that matters is whats on that little piece of paper they hand over. If we don't take what they offer, in my mind we'll be missing the boat. I doubt you would ever receive another offer.

So, when it comes time I will be taking what ever they offer me regardless of facility rating. If they offer me a level 4 I will take it with a smile. I will also take a level 10 with a smile. Personally I would be happier washing out in the first week than having to decline an offer. I would regret not trying it for the rest of my life.

I had no choice, I applied for either and was selected for En Route. I'm OK with it though

I asked for ZAU (aurora en route) and got ZAU.

Level 11

If I die trying at least I died trying.

ZAU is an ATC 12 not 11, and its Chicago Center not Aurora Enroute

so is it a good idea to apply for both and see what you are good at or what? how does that work?
