Taking a break from aviation

I've had enough of aviation and flying for awhile. I just started a new job at a local University as a Analyst/Programmer Trainee.

I love aviation and flying but the industry is not something that I think I'm quite ready for yet. This will allow me to be home, settle down, find a home, start with the loan payments..all that jazz that I've wanted for awhile. Its a win win really, I have a backup career in flying and if I leave this to go fly I'll have a backup job in the computer industry.

I hope to get my CFI in the Spring or Summer and instrument part time.

Good luck on your new adventure. Do you have your CFI? If so you could possibly do so side work and get to fly now and again.

:yeahthat: Make sure you stay involved in aviation. It is hard to get back in once you're out of it a while. Staying current is harder than one would think. Trust me, I speak from experience.
