Started new services today from three new locations in California! I can't discuss the specifics but my "sources" say things were look A-okay for day one on several flights. ;)

I personally believe this will be ExpressJet's most sucessful branded market as the passenger movement through California, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington's smaller airports has been underserved for quite some time.

Very exciting day for the ExpressJet folks.

ExpressJet service to Long Beach Airport (LGB), Santa Barbara International Airport (SBA), and the Greater Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) will connect those growing cities to important destinations that do not currently have non-stop service prior to ExpressJet's arrival.

ExpressJet will begin service to each of these three new destinations on November 11. The service to Long Beach Airport (LGB) represents the first service introduction in five years and ExpressJet's commitment to serving convenient, secondary airports in the Los Angeles area. ExpressJet non-stop service from LGB will include flights to Greater Reno-Tahoe (RNO), Fresno (FAT) and Monterey, Calif. (MRY).

I have a real funny comeback, but it'll get googled and show up at an inopportune time during the presidential debates.

"Candidate Taylor..."

See I figure my future campaign is already hosed, so I'm either gonna have to avoid running or simply start the revolution myself. You game for a march on Washington next week?

Let's do this, dawg.

We can't bring our women else they'll think we've sold out! ;) :sarcasm:

I happen to be very well aquainted with an FO who was on one of these innaguaral flights and has had 2 overnights already at one of the new stops. Today he's headed down to another new stop which may have some media coverage. So far he has not lost his paycheck at a casino and no one OD'd on free champagne, so it's going well for him at least...
