Tailwheel Instruction in Central/South Texas?

mooneyguy

been around forever
I'm looking for someone in Central/South texas who does tailwheel training. Someone who has maule experience would be the most ideal.

Call up Ken Wittekiend at ProMark aviation in Burnet. He did my tailwheel endorsement. Best time I've ever had in an airplane.

Flies a SuperCub, though. Not a Maule.

I'd recommend Harvey & Rihn Aviation in Laporte, TX if you are anywhere near the Houston/Galveston area. Top notch folks, and they will even do aerobatic training if that is your thing.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I might have a chance to use a maule for instructing, so I would like to find someone with maule experience, but mught have to settle for something else.

Tough to find a Maule for instruction. You will probably have to go out of state- I know the factory down in Moultrie gives instruction.

I've got the plane, just need the CFI :D
I found this on taildraggers.com. If you can use the Maule you have available, maybe they can teach in it. Problem would be getting the airplane to them.
