T-birds/Blue Angels and separation

Well, I'll bash you. You're a tool, a chode and a troll. You don't do ANYTHING except for come around here talking about the merits of PFT and bashing on people that would give their life for your ability to insult them.

And hey, you're in Vegas? Where were you at this weekend? Probably trolling some forums if your history means much.

Oh and I see you're employed as a pilot according to your profile. Lovely! What do you do? Flight instruct? Throw sky divers? Do please tell us.

Poser.

I flew with a former Thunderbird a few years back in DFW. He was a great guy, but I witnessed something that he'd never admit to.

Uh, Doug...speaking of admitting things.

Hooters in San Diego, NASCAR,...and knowing Doug Taylor! Gahhhh.....

Hell, I'll admit to anything...especially at my age!

As far as landings go...those Nasal Radiators and Jarheads are a bunch of wimps! I had one where the only words spoken after the first touchdown were,

"Altimeters, 29.92, set & crosschecked"!

Flight attendants didn't say a word, not a one. They were all too busy pulling their pantyhose back up!

First liar doesn't have a chance!

I hope you're thrown off the board for your personal attacks such as this.
I've never posted anything but questions that I think are interesting - and if I think PFT is good, that's my opinion and I"m allowed that.
I wasn't in Vegas because about that time I was moving back to Florida, so that's why, dumbass. If I'd been there I'd have loved to have come and joined in the fun. Course if you were there it wouldn't have been too much fun.

Am I supposed to be impressed that you can use big words like chode? Your personal messages to me...well we won't even go there, although perhaps I should post them for all to see how much of a dumbass you really are.
A troll?? I don't think so -just because someone's been a board member here for about 5 years and doesn't post every day doesn't make me a troll. Just because I approve of PFT programs and you don't, doesn't make me a troll - it makes me a person with a differing opinion.
A tool? I won't even go there.
Your personal dislike of me is fine, in private - I findyour private messages quite amusing really, but you do'nt attack me in public and expect to get away with it.
John

Care to ellaborate on your feelings since you've obviously come out swinging?

Actually, CHODE is a small word.....only one syllable.....jk

Got to agree there...big words are like...

1. Mayonnaise

2. Refrigerator

3. Air Conditioner (one little, one big)

Apparently sarcasm is not comprehendable here....
(15 syllable-sentence)

Catalyttic-Converter (big-big)

Ass Face (small-small)

***** (symbols Mr. Herreshoff uses to communicate his opinion of me in private messages)

Me and bro here have been going back and forth in PM land. Long story short, bro here isn't a huge fan of MikeD and loves PFT.

I'm just callin' it like it is.

Tool=Tool for the system of repression that holds us down (PFT).

Chode=Unless this guy really wants me to rip into him publically and get him run off the forums, we don't need to get into why he got that one. But I'll throw if he wants to.

Poser=somebody who is posing as somebody who they are not. Unless I'm mistaken, I thought John here had a private pilots license and an instrument rating. Hence, there's no way his occupation could be a pilot as listed in his profile.

Now in PM land I said some pretty nasty things, I'll be honest. I don't hold much back, whether it's on here or in person, but this guy is reaping what he has sowed. Judgement is not without consequence.

And by the way, if you are indeed employed as a pilot, by all means correct me. I can't find anything that says that you are, and the only things that you have posted point to the idea that you are a wanna-be airline pilot poser who is willing to steal the job from somebody who has earned it. But feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.

Mr. Herreshoff spewed a great deal of •, and that's about it.
He said because I think it's reprehensible for an Air Force officer (MikeD) to reduce the Thunderbirds mission to being a circus sideshow, that I'm calling him unAmerican. Not true - I commend MikeD and all officers for their hard work and dedication.
I'm sorry I've not updated my profile - kill me for being lazy. I have my commercial license and multi-rating, but apprently didn't know there was a place to list that. Since Mr. Herreshoff links to http://www.landings.com on his website, you'd think he could figure that out, by simply going into the pilot database and entering my name, where my former address (since I just moved a couple weeks ago) and all ratings I have are listed.
PFT holds nobody down - how many times have you been up for a job and been told, "Well you're qualified for the position, Sir, but I'm sorry - you see that dude in the corner trying to figure out the difference between an elevator and a stabiliator?? Well he's paid us $20G's and so he's going to get the job and we'll take our chances with him.. I'm sorry you're not in a financial position to buy the job because you're much more qualified than him."
I guarantee you - NEVER - and never will. Just because its' "jetcareers PC" to bash PFT programs doesn't mean the rest of the world thinks so - I know Doug says what he says, but I also communicate with people outside the forum who strongly disagree as well.
Chode? Go for it ass face - just go for it.

You know a mod already has a good chunk of our PM conversation, right?

You in fact did call him un-American, and anti-Air Force if I'm not mistaken.

You hung yourself bro.

I most certainly did not hang myself ( and btw, it's 'hanged yourself', not hung - you hung a dishtowel, but you hanged a person)
*** I *** think bashing the Thunderbirds as a member of the Air Force is anti-American (not UN-American) and anti-Air Force, but it's my right to believe that, just like it's MikeD's right to think what he thinks.
I also commend and respect MikeD and all officer's for what they do (apparently you have selective reading) - his dedication to the country is admirable.
I wish I'd decided to pursue a military career when I was 18 and gone that route, but I didn't, and now it's too late - I'm too old to be selected; fortunately MikeD wasn't when he went into the service.
A mod. has a good chunk of our conversation? Well first of all, what's private in my book is private, but apparently not to you - I guess I should follow through on my threat to post everything you said on a board so you're lowlyself can be revealed. Secondly... OOOOOOhhhh I'm so scared! I suppose you always run to teacher to tell her little Billy's passing notes in the back row, too?
Get a life jackoff.
This board when I joined it was awesome - great aviation questions answered w/o stupid bashing and opinion-driven nonsense. I, or others, would ask a simple question, such as how best to deal w/crosswind landings, or weather conditions, and others would respond w/their insights.
Now if I, or others, but especially I, ask a question, it turns into a flamewar of namecalling - which I will point out I did NOT start. If anyone can recall, this threat started w/a simple question - do the Thunderbirds really fly 18" apart? To my eye looking at pictures, it doesn't appear that close. That's basically all I asked - I had no intention of getting your bloodpressure up over a totally different topic.
Apparently you have lots of time on your hands to jackoff and make nonsense messages of anger.
To use one of your lovely phrases
"Go ****yourself.
Good day Sir."

Secondly... OOOOOOhhhh I'm so scared! I suppose you always run to teacher to tell her little Billy's passing notes in the back row, too?

Why didn't any of the biggest trash-talkers make it out to Vegas?

It's usually like that, though . . .whatever

I would bet more kids looked up at MikeD in his Stealth, while performing an numerous airshows and thought COOL - then they did the Thunderbirds!!

Mike is not about the pretty boy fighter jet guy - he knows the role as a fighter pilot is to blow • up - and I do not know anyone I would trust more to take care of business, and keep me safe then MikeD!!

Maybe you need a prozac, or a women!!

Well I'm sure the F-117 gets lots of oohs and ahs - myself included - it's amazing to see it in action..more than the Thunderbirds? total opinion there
No prozac for me, thanks, and the woman situation is just fine - got rid of a horrible one a year and 1/2 ago and got with a new great one a few months back :-)

Doug,
Did you ask your captain if he thought they were nothing more than loops to music?

Pretty much, actually. But he can speak for himself -- I'm trying to get him to register.

Sure did.

I'm still waiting for John2375 to refer to ROFIBC as bad because he's got hair below his collar! :)

In fact, I dedicated the last two legs to ya!

"We're goin' SLICK to SNAH, then back to SLICK!" :)

BTW, I've been googling the NASCAR rulebook since your retirement, but still haven't found much. Grinch (J. Blass) suggested that I look on glocktalk but to no avail! ;)
