Swiss-made Pilatus PC-24 Business Jet

I'm with you, been buying a lottery ticket once in a while ever since I heard about this thing. Only downer, I'm calculating about .72 mmo at 350. I can't find a published Mmo anywhere, you?
Don't know if I'd plunk my lottery winnings down for a jet that slow. Ugh. I could of dealt with a few hundred more feet on takeoff and landing for a few more hundredths of a Mach...
I've got just enough time in the Dork Jet going .62 max forward and too much time in the Lear going .80 to stare at the miles going by doing .72. :-(
#firstworldproblems

Why would you be flying this airplane @ 350? It's a modern light business jet competing with the CJ4 and Phenom 300, I can't imagine this airplane would have any issues with 430/450 every flight.

At the time, the only numbers I saw for it on the site was .72 at 350. I thought it weird as well.
I'll betcha it doesn't do any better up much higher with that straight fat wing.

Their website is pretty damn crappy. Nice pictures and all, but I don’t care that max speed is 440 knots at 280! Tell me something I do care about!?!?

We don't have much information on the aircraft either. Apparently the aircraft is heavier than anticipated. MTOW is 17,650. Max pax is 8 too instead of 10.

Eh, the "mighty" M2 does barberpole at FL410 no problem in most conditions with a straight wing and wimpier versions of the same engine, book also says it's fastest in the low 30's and I never fly it there.

Has anyone seen a video of it operating out of unpaved strips yet? I've seen stupid animations on youtube but nothing real. Interested to see how a business jet looks bouncing through a field

There are a ton of jets in Canada doing just that. I watched a Citation Excel takeoff out of a gravel strip in the mountains.

There are significantly different requirements for 10 or more, both in EU and US. Down to the flight/data recorders as one example. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
