SWA online boarding pass

Anyone ever use this service on SWA's website? Any hassles from TSA or at the departure gate? I'm all for anything that can get me all the way up to boarding the plane without having to wait in line or deal with an agent

, but I just feel funny handing them a piece of paper printed out on my POS inkjet printer.

You don't even need the paper - put bring it just in case. They never asked for it and I've flown SWA with ticketless travel several times. SWA's check-in is a breeze...

I had no trouble using the home-printed boarding pass in JAX, but the TSA in Las Vegas didn't like it and made me use an airport kiosk to print an 'official' boarding pass.

More inconsistency from the wonderful TSA, leading America into the 21st century police state.

[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, pscraig, that's the kind of thing I was worried about - TSA agents not being up to speed with SWA's "at home printed" boarding pass. Hopefully Orlando's TSA has a clue when I fly home for Christmas. Nevertheless, I'll still be at the airport early if they make me print one out from a kiosk.

I fly Southwest out of Orlando and I always print my boarding pass at home, and have never had any problems.

US Airways offers the same service.....used it on my trip this past week, and had no problems at all 4 TSA stations that I went through.

Delta offers the same thing too, though when I went to Las Vegas in May the skycaps printed me out another one.

MCO's TSA has more of a clue than most. They just have a tendency to change the line setup every other day. Actually, now that I think about it TSA isn't even the ones that check the boarding passes against the IDs. It's whatever the airport uses as a screener. I know in MEM the home printed boarding passes are no problem (XJT/Continental uses them). When you get to the gate, the agent will probably just tear off the top part and give the rest back to you.
