SWA 737 off a runway and in a ditch in BNA

At Ontario California SWA has a really short taxi for departure. One flight I was on the FA were walking the isle looking at seat belts and checking the overhead bins. The flight deck said nothing, rounded the corner at high speed and accelerated down the runway. Watching the FA's trying to climb the isle back to their seats as the gear was retracting reminded me of Monty Python skit. It was unsafe but very entertaining.

What were you doing on the FA in public?

I purposely taxi like a Northwest DC-9 Captain when I'm at BNA just because I think it is fun to have a couple stacked up on me like it's NASCAR

This, except I've done this on an RNAV arrival on an RJ, especially when ATC gives us a speed restriction:D

...which is exactly why you stay in your seat and buckled in until the airplane is parked at the gate.

I have a portrait of Alexander Hamilton that the injured parties were trying to jump the gun to deboard, with a side wager of $5 that they were in the first ten rows.

First rule of the internet: If it's free, then YOU are the product. ie, they're selling your time and info to advertisers.

Hell, even JC does it.

I don't have "gateways" to content.

Servers and bandwidth are not cheap.
