SVO-JFK-LAX on Delta

Hi Everyone,
My wife and I are coming up on days off and will be taking Delta home to LA on Wednesday 20 January. Anyone we know working these flights? Perhaps a little airport meet and greet?

Won't be I as I'll be in VCE.

I'll take a look and see if you may know anyone on the flights.
 
Looks like my flight is being changed to Thursday now instead. Economy class too. :( I shall be trying for an upgrade onboard.

Maybe you are more familiar with the process than me but, I don't think the FA's have much leeway in granting upgrades. However, If I knew that we had an off-line pilot on board I would ask the skipper if it was all right to upgrade him then let the A-line know. If both were cool about it then they would wait for the door to close. Also, don't expect a first-class meal as they only load enough for those that are listed.

Thanks for the info. I'm shooting at about 90% in getting upgrades. Most of the times the crews are very cool! When AA was serving Moscow I was pretty much always getting it. On Delta I only got upgraded once. Its always a roll of the dice. I always come on and am very respectful and I always bring chocolates for the flight attendants. Seems to help. As for the food...eh I really don't care to much what I eat. :)
