I thought the guy's name looked familiar and low and behold, he was dismissed from the AF a few years ago for defrauding the guberment for 20K. I can't believe he only got a dismissal! They would have thrown me under the jail!


And that's funny...on his "personal stalking page" (?) he forgets to post all the court martial stuff on there. I wonder why? :)

What exactly did he do to defraud the government?
 
Wow, what a bag. Who puts their college transcripts on a website about themselves, along with their GRE score? Oh, and a reference point to show you how he performed relative to Harvard admitees.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was insurance fraud, given his alleged track record.

If you google his name you can find the appellate information. Basically he was claiming that his wife and kid was living in Alaska while he was doing a remote tour. The address he claimed they lived in was a storage shed. When you scam Uncle Sam, they frown upon that.

I know. I thought about e-mailing him to ask where the court martial stuff was at, or maybe his last OPR. He could have scored the best GRE EVER, but if an employer were to catch wind of his past...well, anyway. Although since his family owns an FBO, I think he just might be OK. And it's not ALLEGED. He was CONVICTED by court martial and it was UPHELD by the appellate court. That's about as guilty as you can get in the military.

Yeah this guy does look like pretty much every definition of a tool I can think off.
 
And this folks is why you should carry survival gear anytime you fly beyond gliding distance to shore.... Who cares if it isn't a requirement unless you're 135 or 121. I couldn't imagine treading water for hours at night with no way to get out of the water, no water, no food and no signaling device. I remember an older couple had to ditch on their way back from the Bahamas because they didn't want to pay for marked up fuel. Luckily it was in the daytime and someone spotted them right away.

This guys is super cool for putting all his documents on a website. I think I'll copy his idea, except instead of transcripts I'll put all my blood work reports online. I bet my cholesterol level beats yours. It's no wonder a dude that's this narcissistic thought he could get away with fraud.

I don't know how long it will last. I am sure the likes of Inside Edition will get a hold of his past and this will result in his page BLOWING UP! Like I said, he's most likely set for life considering the business his parents own. I rarely mention the term "silver spoon", but it might be the case here. OK..maybe not, I am just assuming and that's nice, so I will stop speculating.
 
Wouldn't he owe 20 years or so to the air force after coming out of the academy? Or do they just let him go and call the money they spent on him a waste?

Why, do his parents own the only profitable flight school in the US? :) I also noticed that his dad is a Dr. So that might be a side business, then again my wife is a Dr. (of psychology) and we still rent. Who knows?
 
Its easier to just pay out the insurance claim (60k) or so, and then its up to the insurance company what they want to do with the airframe. If the NTSB doesn't need it raised they will turn it over the ins co. under water, and I assume the recovery cost is WAY higher than any salvage value for a salt water submerged airframe.

I've been living on this Earth for over 30 years, done lots of good stuff, including good stuff for the Air Force, but all they will post about me is this one negative piece of information. My intention was to show some good things about me. How would you change the website? I'm taking suggestions right now.

Ghost, an Academy graduate only owes 8 years after pilot training. Part of my reason for posting my OPRs was to show that the money wasn't a "waste."

gne in prog - wallyball was a totally crappy class. I mean, who the heck plays wallyball? Is it even a sport outside of the AF academy?

poser765 - I've never spiked my hair. I supposed the picture looks spiked because the hair is short.

HeyEng - don't hate. Why the comments about the FBO business? I work my ass off 60-70 hours per week, and I have been working that many hours per week since I left the AF. I'm trying to make my own way. I have seriously done plenty of good stuff in my life. Why all the negativity?

On the issue of the court martial: I didn't make any money off what they accused me of doing. The AF moved my family plus all my belongings and car to Alaska. The AF ordered me to send my family there while I was on a remote tour outside the country. I sent all of the housing allowance to my wife, but she chose not to live there. After I divorced her, her father had me accused of fraud, which I thought was total BS. That guy has always hated me, and he used his position as a high ranking AF officer to get even.

To all: unfortunately I can't talk about the crash because it is still under investigation.

I did think you guys were flaming on him rather hard. At least "he", assuming it is him, came on here to explain himself.
