Re: Survival Flight Cessna Citation crashes into Lake Michig
I hope they are wrong but Headline News just said no survivors . From video of the crash site there wasn't much afloat. Divers were still in the water.
Hopefully, they can quickly get the reckage up and possibly save the organs the team was transporting for the person at U of M.

Sitting here at Signature in Milwaukee. Coast guard is still out there on rotating shifts. Line guys said the crew were extremely nice guys and everyone is kinda taken aback.
RIP
here's the latest - they released the names of the people on board:
Dr. David Ashburn, a physician-in-training in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, was onboard along with Dr. Martinus Spoor, a cardiac surgeon; transplant donation specialists Richard Chenault II and Richard Lapensee, and Marlin air pilots Dennis Hoyes and Bill Serra.
Re: Survival Flight Cessna Citation crashes into Lake Michig
I applied for an entry level job to get my foot in the aviation door at marlin air for the fall. I am going to school at emu in the fall which is based on willow run airport. My thoughts are with all involved.
Re: Survival Flight Cessna Citation crashes into Lake Michig
I flew a bit with a guy who flies the Citation for Marlin Air. Fortunately for him, he wasn't on the flight. But it's a small flight dept. I'll have to call him and see how he's doing.
Re: Survival Flight Cessna Citation crashes into Lake Michig
I saw them takeoff. We were getting ready to test fly a Beech. My dad thought it was me, because I had just got off the phone with him after telling him about the maintenance flight. They weren't in the air long. The harbor has got to be less than a minute after wheels up.
Re: Survival Flight Cessna Citation crashes into Lake Michig
The last I heard on the new was the the owner of the plane flew it over the weekend w/o problem. He also was backing the flight crew and with the experience they had it was no way their fault it must have been mechanical.
It was nice to see mgmt backing a pilot for once. I hope they find the plane and are able to bring it up to figure out what happened.
