First time JC picture poster! They're nothing like Alex offers but a start.

Took my Mooney 231 from KSLC today to KTVY for a gas run.

Salt Lake City (KSLC) was beautiful; clear and a million.

The lake in the pictures is nothing other than the infamous Great Salt Lake.

Tooele (KTVY) was awful. 2 sm vis and 500' ceilings. As you can see, the gunk is stuck in the valley. Either way, it was the first ILS in my new airplane.

Nice pictures merit! Is there enough salt density in the lake to make the airplane float if you lose your engine?

Take some of the panel next time you're up.

Great plane! Did you achieve the speed 0f 231 mph? I just bought a mooney m20b abit older than yours but still a mooney.

cheers

Very nice dude!

Beautiful!

We just bought a house in Saratoga Springs. I haven't flown in a while, let alone out of SLC. What's an out of work CFI to do?

Sweet pics! I was out in SLC this past weekend just to play in the snow. I've been going out there for at least 10 years and I love it. If all goes well, I'll move out there eventually. You don't know how lucky you are to have the Wasatch range as your backdrop!
