Although it is still about a month away, just curious to see if anyone from the board will be there. For those of you who dont know, im sure majority do, but it is about a week long airshow held in Lakeland, FL. There is just about anything and everything that has to do with aviation there. A couple of my friends and I are going to fly over there on April 8th, for the day. Just wanted to see if anyone else will be there...
 
There's a 50/50 chance that I'll be there. It will depend on what my boss needs me to do that week. It's either SnF or lots of desk work . . .

So is the whole South Flo crew going or what? I'd love to go but the parents wouldn't let me drive there by myself.
 
Would love to go now that my student's aunt is the Director! Hope for some rain around Maryland and Sun in Florida.....
 
Its probably going to be a crazy weekend. Im really looking forward to it. We are probably gonna have wheels up at 8 in the morning and probably stay till 5 that night.

BCTAv8r, if you can, find another friend and fly up there. Its gonna be a pretty long drive up there. I would say come along with us but we are full. I will let you know if I hear of more guys heading that way.

I love how it turns into WWIII trying to land there. The seperation is not even 1/4 of a mile. I love it... it makes some mid-air photos look great:nana2:

I bet that Miami and West Palm Approach feel differently!
 
Hahaha. Its probably so true. I wonder how many will call in sick that day. It would probably be a neat pic of what their radar screen looks like.
