Sun Country hiring 2025

Does anyone know about relocation support, is there an amount they allocate for housing, do they cover cost of hotel during ground
I doubt they would provide relocation or hotel costs. The only carrier I know that offers relocation for non-management positions is FedEx. Otherwise, relocation and housing costs are on your own.

Hawaiian offers relocation but that's understandable..... (how do I know is because we have someone leaving to Hawaiian here pretty soon)

I remember a few years ago they did give relocation/ bonus. but im not sure about putting you up in a hotel

And yes there is still airlines that gives you a bonus or relocation and they will put you up in a hotel for at least a month

Yes it is , I think they still do ETOPS on the 757

They do charters and I think some military

I interviewed there years ago and everyone’s welcoming

they want you to embrace the airline and live In Minnesota for the long term , if they think your using them as a stepping stone they probably won’t hire you lol

Is Sun Country a good step up/forward from a regional on the path to a major? Do they fly ETOPS?
I knew a couple of people who worked at Sun Country and got hired at United a few years ago… Then one of them actually chose to go back to Sun Country. I haven’t heard any negatives about SY, in fact I have read some positive articles this year about them. But now Spirit has hired their CEO. It must not be too bad there, so hopefully whoever their next CEO is will still do well for the company and keep a good culture.

There is ETOPS, mostly to Hawaii.

Currently the fleet is all 737-800 with some 900s being added in the near future.

They prefer to hire people with ties to the area that are likely to stick around.

I believe relocation assistance is available but I don't know details.

I don’t believe that. Why would he leave home?

Spirit did not hire the SY CEO, they hired the SY CFO as their new CEO
