Stupid Op Specs

So I got to BSing with the FedEx pilot this morning about their Op Specs (they had the FAA and some Baron higher ups observing). Anyways, he said that if there is any other airplane on the ramp, they are technically supposed to shut down on the taxiway and have the FBO tow them in! How rediculous is that? We had 1 LSA tied down next to the building, a good 50 yards away. He didn't shut down but said that they technically are supposed to.

What are some other rediculous rules some of you guys have to deal with?
