Stupid Logbook Question

Okay, this is probably a stupid question but you need to remember I am only 13 years old and just starting flying lessons unlike many of you experienced pilots. Well I had a question about my logbook, I will use my Familiarization Flight for example. My instructor helped me fill out my logbook and for time he put under dual 0.6, I know what dual means and everything but I was just woundering if someone could explain what the 0.6 means, 60 minutes? I really am not sure, thank you for your help!

0.6 = six tenths of an hour, or 36 minutes. Logbook times are generally hours and tenths--makes them easier to add.
