Anybody know if that program is available anywhere else besides Dulles, VA?

Don't count on it being available anywhere - I don't think any of the financial 'sources' have them being in existence past Jan '05. I had many friends at ACA and had high hopes for Indy Air but it looks like they underestimated the amount of $$$$ necessary to start a 'new' airline. I don't think they even got the Bus into revenue service.

I just talked to my homie that worked for ACA before jumping ship to work for Aloha before I-Air started.

I just talked to one of my good friends who was told to expect the "letter" any day. Sounds like Furloughs of 150 or so.

Anyone know anything that could help out DaveTheFlyer just in case?

Just heard from a Indy Air crew that the buses will not be going online anytime soon. The FAA shot down something in the mx program for them...(rumor)

I applied, got an email.

So that's more specific info on what that job is about!

Some more info:

*************************************
This is a position at the Dulles airport so you need to be a local college student. The position is aircraft support-you are loading and unloading the plane. It is an outside position. The training is done Mon/Wed/Sat or Tues/Thurs/Sat--the week day hours are 4 p.m.-10 and Saturday is 10-4. There is homework with the training. You are required to work at least 12 hours a week-the schedule is created around
your availability.

I'm not from the Dulles area, so I don't think this is for me. However, hopefully, someone will find the info I posted very useful. If someone wants the contact name and email of the HR person at Independance to inquire further about this job, PM me and I'll provide it.
