Student pilots taking up passengers.

I'd feel like an •, but would probably say no as well. I took a friend up once along with my instructor and having the extra person in the back really messed up the way the airplane felt.

So you're never going to take anyone up sitting in the back because it feels weird?

My 3rd flight instructor was a very nerdy girly-man. After about a week of flying with him, he asked if he could bring his girlfriend along for a night flight. I was surprised he actually had a girlfriend. I didn't mind but it still seemed a little funny that he was bringing people along on my time....
Unless I'm allowed to issue holding instructions -no freakin way!

Don't you think that would have been a good thing? Getting comfortable in a variety of aircraft loadings?

I took a bunch of people up with an instructor. After steep turns and stalls, short field landings, etc they are quite happy to go on a normal flight!
