Stuart Heat

I'm looking at starting the AACP in Stuart during July. Everyone has been telling how hot it gets in FL during the summer. Question is..how hellish is it to do flight training when its 90 and high humidity? During my PPL training in OH, the days that were hot and humid sucked, primarily during taxing, run-up, and the heat convections made for some bumpy rides. I'm not sure if it really makes a difference, but does anyone NOT recommend training in Stuart during the summer months.

Bring your nomex flight suits.

Besides, it's not like your going to Vietnam or Bangkok, now that's hot...

No need, you just sweat. I'd hate to have to use a lav in the spacious cabin of a PA-44!

It's really not a problem, you just use the little window on the left. It's a little cold sometimes, but not painful if you don't bounce it on the wing.

I'm sure it's pretty hot anywhere you go in the summer, although worst so in Fla. Off the subject, does the AACP do very many coast to coast cross-countries from Stuart? That's what'd I'd be most excited about the program is flying all over the country.
