I see stressed people around me these days.
Really stressed. People uncertain deep inside of how, if at all, their life will go on. People facing changes stressed.
Expect anything from rage to crying on your shoulder from the people you would never expect it from. That's the for real stress of uncertainty.
Stress like that resonates and multiplies, part of the herd survival I guess. Large enough group of people so stressed is not capable of rational thought and reaction.
Become a pillar, if you at all can. Things will work out, they always do. Sometimes at great costs, sometimes with many changes from how everything used to be, but most of us are not in the immidiate peril.
Become the anchor point. Don't promise everything will be good - it may be, or it may not, but on the great scheme of things it is irrelevant. Find it inside yourself to look into the future with reasonable courage. Take things as they come, adapt, make the best of it if you can, and keep going.
As this situation deepens, many people around you will act weird. Most people here lived very sheltered lives, they have no "antibodies" to "hey, many of us may actually die within the next 3-4 weeks" or "we all gonna run out of TP" or whatever else. The weirdness you may see and experience is the stress response. People, that used to be quiet, blabbering some random BS non-stop, friendly people being mean and aggressive, people dead set that the government is either out to kill them all at the Russian command, or magically save everything and everyone with a gazillion dollars - all that is manifestation of stress previously not known.
Realizing the problem is half way to solving it. You can't make everything right, you can't help everyone, but you can remind yourself that you will do your best.
Face the problem, the fears, analyze your response, remove the irrational, deal with factual. You are strong and you can deal with it.
The look in your eyes is what the people around you will see. It may be weary, but don't let it be hopeless.
