Neat, a STOL competition, one that the FAA is fine with and that they even let student pilots participate in (details available upon request), and where nobody was hurt. What was the point you were trying to make about it being dangerous again?

Just to be clear on the Aviation TV shows. The amount of crap they stage is somewhere around 99%. You'll pull up to the ramp in Barrow or Deadhorse and discovery will have an airplane off in the corner getting angles to make it look much worse than it is. BLOWING SNOW AND WE'RE THE ONLY ONES GOOD ENOUGH TO DO IT!!!!!!oneone!

Except oh yeah a king air, a lear jet and 4 737's just landed... so um no, bringing a caravan in here isn't impressive, nor is the annunciator panel all lit up when you're on the ground. Oh and ya, they haven't plowed that section of the ramp yet. That's why there's 2 feet of snow. The rest of the airport is clear though.

That's a competition not everyday Alaska flying. Some guys hit the brakes too hard, but they are landing at what 30 kts? Not really unsafe by any means - just having a good time.

Would u rather not have car racing /competition as well?

There are no similarities between these two clips other then low and slow.
