Anyone in St Louis? I will be moving down there in May/June. How is the job scene? I have a few ideas but would like to know what you think.

I had a friend in Columbia, MS...it always made me laugh how he called the state Misery not mizzurah

The hicks pronounce it Mizzer-ahh. IMO it should be pronounced Mizzer-eee but what do I know.....

I'm from STL, more or less....

And St. Louis is just as much misery as the rest of the state. I do like Kansas City though.

yeah I will be leaving in May. Kinda sucks because I just got hired and it was a helluva lot of work.

would like to know the job situation down there. There are a few places that Im looking at right now but I always like to have a back for the backup plan.

Is there anything like traffic watch or banner towing down there?

Yup, KC is pretty awesome. I agree that you are a hick, and most likely a Mizzou fan if you pronounce it mizzourah. It is one of my biggest pet peeves.
 
Someone used to do banner towing for the local strip clubs down in Sauget near the Gateway Raceway along I-55/70 on the metro-east side (eeeeaaaaassst siiide).

As far as traffic goes I think there was a traffic service but the last I heard of it was four or five years ago.

Course I havent lived in the area for three years. Miss it but I like Phoenix.

In all honestly STL sucks about as hard as the rest of MO does. Though I do like Columbia.

I lived in Columbia for about 3 weeks and St Louis for 9 mo. Personally I like Columbia better. I still go down to St Louis 2 or 3 times a year for Cardinals games. Id say the job market is about the same as any major city. Not great but not bad. Hint: Try not to live in the city or you pay extra income tax. I lived in Maryland Heights, it was pretty nice.

I just visited there. I was out at the airport on Monday...So that's cool, your an instructor there? I did an overnight with a student named Amed. Maybe you know him? I am pretty phsyced about going
