Has the FAA progressed any further on allowing special issuances for pilots on SSRIs?

What is your opinion on cognitive behavioural therapy? Do you think it can be effective as medication for anxiety? Thanks for your help.
 
They are working on the criteria for SSRI's but be aware that there will be VERY TIGHT criteria and follow-up for the initial Special Issuance certificates for SSRI's.

I think CBT or psychotherapy is an essential part of the management of any anxiety disorder. To just use medications is like painting over rust, the rust is still there but just covered up.
