They rip off people leaving London on long-haul flights, regardless of where you're going. It's much cheaper to take a short hop to somewhere else in Europe and then fly back to the US from there.

The train is cheap as well. Nothing like AMTRAK.

49 degrees still open, Mom said they got 10 inches of snow up there

I don't know where she lives, but there ain't 10 inches of snow on the ground here. Back in December we got over 45 inches, but haven't gotten more than three inches since.

She's actually snowbirding in my back yard right now, but she lives in Chewelah. She called a friend last monday and they said it had snowed 10 inches that morning

Places up north of us always get a lot more snow than we do. I hope she likes it because I don't.
