Splitting endorsements up

Has anyone ever had any problems splitting up endorsements with a student with two different instructors?

For example. I taught a CFI class all of the aeronautical knowledge, and another instructor flew with the students and signed off the flight proficiency items.

Any alarms an examiner could bring up?
 
The way I've seen the recommending instructor adds all the endorsements just prior to the check ride, so may steal some of the ground from you, but your way is fairer.

As long as it's properly documented I doubt the FSDO or DPE would have an issue.

Just gotta find my way into getting some people signed off now AC6165F is out hehe.
