I think it looks a little cheesy running around in a 152 logging safety pilot time. But knock yourself out.
No, it's cheesy cause it's cheesy.
I'm not a big fan of the safety pilot thing.
I'm curious what a 152 costs per/hr for you? Here in Portland they rent about 85/hr.
The prices just went up to 54 for a 152 and i think 68 for a 172. So the prices are still pretty good.
What airport are you flying out of? Pearson in Vancouver has 150s for
$64/hour after the fuel surcharge. But then there's tax, too.
Twin Oaks in Hillsboro has 150s for $55/hour, no fuel surcharge, no taxes in Oregon.

I fly out of Hillsboro Aviation. They charge 78/hr plus a 6-10 dollar fuel surcharge.Twin Oaks requires you to have insurance for the airplane you fly. They have a 180 horse cherokee, it's cheap but you need hull insurance on it.

You pay too much at Hillsboro Aviation IMHO.
:yeahthat: that and the fact they try to cook up violations to the FSDO to try and screw over former students when they come fly with us.
Pretty strong statement. Care to put some detail behind it?
