New New NAI? :stir::stir:
I'd expect Delta to go after Spirit and Frontier like they are Alaska.
Oh no! Not even close!
Spirit and Frontier play by the rules Delta is playing under. NAI and Middle East carriers aren't.
I saidt tongue in cheek. I think @Seggy knows that and isn't looking to open that box.Oh look. THIS again.
Might be hard to compete with price. Although Delta would probably lower fares on the routes served by Spirit/Frontier. Or just buy them out. Take care of the hiring and get some used planes on the cheap.I'd expect Delta to go after Spirit and Frontier like they are Alaska...they already are with the cabin rebranding.
Now Delta is going to assimilate not only Alaska, but Spirit and Frontier to huh?Might be hard to compete with price. Although Delta would probably lower fares on the routes served by Spirit/Frontier. Or just buy them out. Take care of the hiring and get some used planes on the cheap.

"Spirit of Frontier"No way Delta would buy Spirit and/or Frontier. To much overlap for the DOJ to approve it.
Spirit and Frontier merging though...I would be on it.
I doubt that.I would be on it.
I doubt that.
Reread that post.Typo response or you think the merger isn't going to happen?
Frontier announced more designations from Atlanta today.
"daily flights from Atlanta to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York LaGuardia, Cincinnati and Minneapolis"
As long as they don't have to sit in the back anyways. I think Spirit is the only airline that I'd pass on the seat in the back.That's hub to hub into four of Delta's hubs. That'll make some commuters happy.
